A good rummage through a local junk shop threw up this lovely find, an antique pocket watch, not in working order but rear cover opened up to reveal a beautiful mechanism.
My favourite D800 with a micro Nikkor 105 F2,8. I wanted a shallow focus so it was shot at F3,2 with a very simple one light set up, up high and to the left.
I am always on the look out for backgrounds and I had found this one at the bakery. A well used baking tray, cleaned it up with some wire wool, photographs really well I think.
Post processed in Photoshop with a liitle bit of cross process colour effect added.
